Interesting! This article basically says that we as women are either considered "too assertive" or "not assertive enough". Sigh.  Anyone else face this? I do, but only on a daily basis. ;-)

In order to level the negotiating playing field, women have been encouraged to lean in, become more assertive and ask for what they want. But new research suggests that the problem doesn’t necessarily stem from women’s lack of negotiating skills.
