I greet you with a hearty talofa (hello) as I am in Samoa to see the CHOGM 2024 preparations. We have had fruitful meetings here and I have expressed my gratitude to the taskforce team, including the Prime Minister of Samoa, the Hon Fiame Naomi Mata'afa, for their hard work. We look forward to welcoming you!
 
After a successful Commonwealth Law Ministers Meeting in Zanzibar, we had a vibrant, reverent, and celebratory Commonwealth Day and you can read about the highlights below. Thankfully, His Majesty King Charles III, the Head of our Commonwealth family, was able to be with us virtually. Let us keep him and Her Royal Highness, the Princess of Wales, in our prayers for a quick recovery.
 
I would also like to thank and commend our partners and the team at the Secretariat for coordinating these events. In April, I will be back to highlight more of our work and special events.
